I found the book to very motivational. I agree that it takes you through a number of emotions. The emotional control of Denny was phenominal. The insight into humanity through the eyes of Enzo was exceptional.

I do not usually enjoy books written in the voice of an animal, but this one was an exception. I read it in one sitting. The book takes you through an array of emotions -- you laugh, you cry, you feel joy, sadness and even hatred. You wonder how one person can be put through so much and still do what is right. You hope against hope that justice and goodness will prevail. Enzo learns much about humanity and so does the reader.
