| What is a bookmarklet?
A bookmarklet is an applet, a small computer
application, stored as the URL of a bookmark in a web browser or as a
hyperlink on a web page. Basically, our bookmarklet will allow you to
search our online catalog for highlighted words on a webpage. |

| What do I need to do to begin using
WCPL's bookmarklet? Simply add our
bookmarklet to your Favorites or Bookmarks.

How do I use WCPL's bookmarklet?
- Be sure your browser has
JavaScript enabled.
- While on a website, highlight text you would like
to search for in our online catalog. This text can be a search term,
book title, ISBN number, etc.
- Go to Favorites (if using Internet Explorer) or
Bookmarks (if using Firefox) and select Search WCPL's Online Catalog.
- The bookmarklet will search the library's catalog
for your search term and display the results of your search.

If you find an item of interest in the library's
catalog you can place a hold using your library card number and PIN.
