Birth to 24 months
This Friday morning
program is for our smallest patrons. it encourages
communication and personal contact between child and parent.
A great way to meet other new parents. Pre-registration needed.
Toddler Time
Ages 2 and 3
Toddlers, with an adult
friend, can join in this program filled with stories, finger plays,
and songs. Sessions are six to 12 weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday or
Thursday mornings. Pre-register to
join.
Story Hour
Ages 4 to 6
Stories, videos,
finger plays, and crafts related to a specific theme make learning
fun. Held every week on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday
mornings. Adults are request to be present for craft time but
are not required to be in the Story Hour Room. These sessions
fill up fast so pre-register early to join.

Family Story Hour
All ages
This 45-minute weekly
program is held on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. Drop-in for a fun time
of stories, games, activities, and more. We let families be the
judge about whether or not your child is too young or too old to
enjoy the format and materials. Only “rule” is that the family must
have at least one adult in attendance. No registration required.
School-age Programming
Grades K-6
Each month a special
event will be held for elementary-aged children and include
activities, crafts, games, and more related to a specific theme.
Some recent programs include Everyday Mysteries: Fun with Science, a
winter Beach Party, and tie dye craft. All of the event days and
times are listed on the library calendar, newsletter, and website.
Or just stop by the library and ask for more information about
upcoming activities. Some programs require pre-registration, while
others are drop-in events.

Ages
birth to kindergarten Reading program that encourages parents to read
1,000 books to their child before kindergarten. Children ages birth
to Kindergarten can be registered for the program and receive
incentives for every 100 books read. Sign-up at the library to
receive an information packet, reading tips, and the first set of
reading logs. |
