Children's Summer Reading Program Rules
UP TO 36 MONTHS
-
The activities need to be completed by the infant
and an adult or older child.
-
On your diary, mark the date that each activity
is completed.
-
When the 8 activities are finished on a page,
bring in your reading diary and it will be stamped.
-
The prizes to be earned are listed at the bottom
of each of the pages.
-
PRIZES can be collected on or after the date
listed on each page.
-
Books may be chosen from any area of the library
except the audio kit section.
-
When you collect your second prize, you can begin
working on the "Challenges" listed on the back page of the
Summer Reading Program booklet. A prize from the treasure
chest will be given for each "Challenge" successfully finished.

ALL PRIZES MUST BE CLAIMED BY SATURDAY, JULY 31.
AGE 3 - KINDERGARTEN
-
Cross off one pair of flip flops on the Summer
Reading Program page for each 15-minute time period that you
listen.
-
Write down the title of one item you had read to
you. The item does not have to be finished to be written
down. We just want to know what kinds of things you are
reading.
-
For every 2 hours, have your parent/guardian sign
the section.
-
The items read can be chosen from any area of the
library. Please read things that are appropriate for your
age and interest level.
-
Prizes can be collected on or after the date
listed at the top of each section on the Summer Reading Program
page.

The prizes to be earned are listed on the bottom
of each of the three sections on the Summer Reading Program page.

When you collect your second prize, a "Challenge"
sheet can be picked up and completed by listening to additional
material. A prize from the treasure chest will be given
for each "Challenge" successfully finished.
