Community Economic Adjustment Program
In 2006, the University of Michigan and the
Center for Automotive Research were awarded a grant from the
U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration
to administer the Community Economic Adjustment Program.
The focus of the program is to assist communities in Michigan,
Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin which have been adversely impacted
by automotive manufacturing plant closures and layoffs.
