Elhanen Cemetery
Location: Corner of County Roads 1000 N and 600 E in Jefferson Township, Wells County, Indiana.
The original introduction states: The land for this cemetery was donated to the Presbyterian Church by James Ferguson to be used as a public burial ground. The first person buried here was a small son of Francis Double in 1845. This data was compiled by Mrs. Faith Higman, member of the Wells County Historical Society.
S. Dailey walked this cemetery during the summer of 1999. The cemetery book and map were copied in July 1999. The church information starts in 1886. The cemetery information has a list of people and plots but no dates or who is buried in each plot.
