K-9 Program @ the Ossian Branch
Randy Steele of the Wells County Sheriff Office and Greg Steele of the Bluffton Police Department will be at the Ossian Branch Library on Tuesday, September 10 from 6:30-7:30 PM to discuss the function of the K-9 Unit. Then watch a special demonstration featuring the police dogs Egon and Deimos.
This event is free and for all ages, but much of it will be geared for kids. No registration needed.
The program is held in conjunction with the One Book One County community read program for adults which features the medical thriller The Bone Garden by Tess Gerritsen. Gerritsen will also be speaking at the Main Library on Wednesday, October 2 from 7:30-8:30 PM, so make sure to save the date for that program too.
The One Book One County program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Get more information about the program and other upcoming events on the One Book One County page.
