Welcome to the new website!

Posted on May 01, 2013 at 7:37 AM

Last month, during National Library Week, we introduced everyone to our fabulous new logo. And now--SURPRISE--we changed the library website. We couldn't very well redo the library logo without taking a long, hard look at our website. And with that, welcome to our new site!

Not only did we change the look but we reorganized information so hopefully it's easier to find. We also added several new features such as this blog. Library staff members volunteered to become part-time bloggers extraordinaire to keep you informed. Be sure to take advantage of commenting on blog posts. We look forward to interacting with all our online patrons.

Before we began the website redesign process we carefully evaluated the information to add to our site, and determined the best way to organize this information. We hope we did a good job. But in life no one is perfect. Not even a librarian (or in my case a lowly I.T. chick). So I would love to get your feedback. What do you like? Is there anything you can't find? Something not working? Give it to me. The good, the bad, the ugly. But not too ugly otherwise your comment will not make the site. Of course, we can't make any promises. But we can address concerns and questions. And maybe we will be able to incorporate some of your suggestions.

We hope you will find the new site to be just another reason you love the Wells County Public Library.
