The 2018 Summer Reading Program is over. Please check back next year for another great program. 

Kids' Program 

The Kids' Summer Reading Program is open to any library patron birth through those who finished 6th grade.
  • Complete sections of reading log to earn prizes.
  • Prizes and challenges vary depending on age group.

Complete rules are located on each reading log. If you have questions, please call (260) 824-1612 and ask for the Children's Room.

Must register in person at the library.

Teen Program 

The Teen Summer Reading Program is open to any library patron who has finished grades 6th - 12th.
  • Read 500 pages to complete the program and receive a free book or donate one to Kate's Kart. In addition, you'll receive a one day pool pass to the Wells Community Pool, plus be eligible to come to the party where additional prizes may be won by those in attendance.
  • Read 3,000 pages & get $5 in chamber bucks.
  • Read 6,000 pages & get another $5 in chamber bucks.
  • Read 9,000 pages & you will be entered in a drawing for an iPad mini! 
  • Read 10,000 pages & get another $5 in chamber bucks.
  • Attend a Teen Zone program and earn 125 pages.
  • Top reader prizes will be rewarded to our top 5 Teen readers.

Adult Program

Adult Summer Reading Program is open to any library patron age 18 and up.

  • Read 800 pages and receive $2.00 in coupons to be used at the library.
  • Read 1600 pages to complete the program and receive a free book or donate a book to Kate's Kart.
  • All those that complete the program will be invited to a party.
  • Completed forms turned in by June 23rd will be entered in the weekly drawings held each Monday in July.
