Jones Cemetery (Jackson Township)

Location: State Road 3 and County Road 700 S in Jackson Township, Wells County, Indiana.

The original introduction states “This cemetery lies directly across the road from the historical marker, denoting the site where the first school house in Jackson Township was built in 1840. The first   person to be buried in this cemetery was Mrs. George Harrold in 1870. Data was submitted by Mrs. David Slusser.”

J. Maxwell walked the cemetery for this revised edition.  After several phone calls, we had no luck in obtaining any cemetery records.
