Oakland / Oak Land Cemetery

Location: On County Road 300 N east of County Road 700 E / State Road 301 in Lancaster Township, Wells County, Indiana.

The original introduction states “The ground for Oakland Cemetery was donated by the Gilliland family. This was also the site where the United Brethren Church once stood but was later abandoned and moved across the road for use as a farm building. So many markers are missing and a complete survey was impossible. Data was compiled by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoeppner, members of the Wells County Historical Society.”

 S. Dailey walked this cemetery in 1999.

Cemetery records do not seem to be available.
