Story Hour Room

Children's Room

Kids can let their imaginations flow in our Children's Room where The Banks of the Wabash is our theme.  Check out books, music, Magazines, games and more for pre-toddlers to pre-teens.  You can register your child for a variety of weekly programs or join in special events throughout the year.  And cal Dial-A-Story for a new story each day: (260) 824-2710.

Indiana Room

Browse through our genealogy collection and local history reference materials (non-circulation).  Visitors will find: Bluffton news-paper microfilm (1866 to present); Cemetery Index; Marriage Index (1837-1980); Birth Index (1883 to 1920); Wells County Census information; Obituary Index (1866 to 2000); and more.  Our full time staff is always available to assist in your research.

Homebound patrons can arrange to have library materials delivered and picked up at their home or nursing facility.

Inter-Library Loan

We can search other libraries for books and information not available here for a postage fee.

Programming

A variety of adult, teen and children's programming is scheduled throughout the year.  Recent programs include: NASA speakers, genealogy workshops, local history, cross stitch classes, coffee tasting party, book clubs, Manga drawing and book signings.

Computer Classes

Free computer classes for adults are scheduled periodically throughout the year.  Small labs or an individual session for basic computer usage or beginning internet can be arranged by appointment by calling the library.
