ADULTS & TEENS Video Contest:
Create a great video promoting the library and your entry could
win a $100 gift card from Best Buy or a certificate from a local
restaurant. Open to adults and teens ages 12 and up. Entry
deadline is 7/1/09. The top five winners will be shown on the
library’s big screen on Friday, July 10 beginning at 5 p.m. It’s

Sunny Schick Digital SLR Camera Workshop
on Thursday, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. "Better pictures with your
digital SLR" is great for beginners and a refresher for others.
Bob Goines will go through the basic functions of digital SLRs
and discuss techniques for getting the best shot. Ages 17 and up
only. Registration is required. $5 per person.
Fort Wayne Museum of Art: “1962:
The Year that Changed American Art” on Thursday, June 25 at 6:30
p.m. Whether you lived it or have fallen in love with all things
retro, the FWMoA will share with us the exciting looks and

Teen Book Club meets Monday,
June 1 (I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak) and Monday, July 6 (Chanda’s
Secrets by Allan Stratton) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Pick up a free
copy of the book to read and then come to book club to discuss
it with fellow book-lovers. Our discussions do not resemble
