The Question of the
Week |
| Earn free candy and other
prizes just for answering one little question! What a
deal! Each week a new question is posted and all you
have to do is find the answer in the book provided. So
make sure you stop by the YA desk each week to do The Question
of the Week. (Open to all teens ages 12-18.
Must show library card to participate.) |

Manga Club |
| This group is open to any
teen, age 12-18, who likes Manga. The club meets at 6:00
PM on the first Monday of every month to discuss the latest Manga books, draw, trade cards and just have fun. |
|
|
TAB. (Teen
Advisory Board) |
| This group meets the last
Tuesday of every month from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM to make
decisions about book and magazine library purchases for teens
and what kinds of teen programs to provide. |
|
|
Wii Game Days |
| Open to any teen, 12-18, with
a library card in good standing. Time to play must be
earned. Please see the flyer available at the YA Desk
for more information on play dates and ways to earn play time. |
|
|
Teen Berets |
| Open
to any teen, grade 6-12. The Teen Berets meet the last
Thursday of the month from 6:00-7:30. They meet to do an
activity together and socialize. The activities are decided by
the group and announced in advanced. Feel free to drop by if
one of the events sounds appealing. |

|
Monthly Movie |
| A different movie is shown for
free in the Main Library's meeting room for each month.
The movie that will be shown is listed on flyers found
throughout the library. Everyone is welcome to attend. |
|
|
The YA department averages one
program each month in addition to its regular programs. These
programs vary in content and meet on a flexible schedule. Past
programs have included Tie Dying, Yuck Night, Taste Test Night, and
Library Survivor. These programs are advertised in the library
newsletter and on flyers around the building. |

Winter Reading
Program |
| Held each year during the
month of February, teens have yet another opportunity to win
free books by completing a reading log. |

Summer Reading
Program |
| One of our most popular
programs! Earn tickets by reading and then use those
tickets for chances to win prizes throughout the summer.
For everyone who completes the program, there is a party at
the end of the summer with plenty of food and fun!
Register during the month of June. |

Teen Read Week |
| Celebrate Teen Read Week at
the library during the month of October. There are
always lots of fun activities planned and all teens are
welcome. |
